I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and I hold a degree in mechanical engineering. Originally, I was drawn to the field because I wanted to innovate and invent the next big human advancement.
Later in my academic career, I realized that passion was not exclusive to 3D products and my desired impact spilled into 2D design and processes. And the roles most suited for my technical background did not allow me to innovate and use my creative problem solving skills, so I made the jump to UX design.
My background in engineering has equipped me well for research and synthesis roles, while my passion has led me to problem solving within the user interface and product structures.
For me, life is about enjoying the simple things. When a seat is angled at just the right position, when a train arrives at the station just as you step on the platform, or when everything is finally back in its place after a few months of productivity.
My passion for design stems from my enjoyment of the simplest pleasures. It is my hope in my future I will produce products, both digital and physical, that help to reduce life's frustrations and instead turn them into a simple pleasure.
